Nina Stutzman joined the Binghamton Philharmonic as Second Flutist in 1982. She also plays Second Flute and Piccolo with the Tri-Cities Opera orchestra. She was a member of the BC Pops, playing both flute and piccolo, and she currently performs regularly with the Downtown Singers orchestra and as a chamber musician with the Fairwinds Woodwind Quintet.   She is an active member of the Southern Tier Music Teachers’ Association, and she serves on the Board of Directors for the Harmony Club of Binghamton.

Nina Stutzman earned her Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education and a Performer’s Certificate from the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY and her Master’s of Music in flute performance from Binghamton University. She maintains a private flute and piccolo studio in her Vestal home where she resides with her husband, Randy.
